Rupture is a captivating shadow, dance, and puppet performance that explores the theme of displacement and the struggle to adapt to new surroundings. The simplicity of the scenography, with two rotating walls and video projections, creates an immersive environment that interacts with the dancer, enhancing the storytelling. As the protagonist, a child forced to leave a country torn by conflict, navigates through new landscapes, the performance delves into the emotional turmoil of grappling with memories and the profound sense of alienation. Through the art of puppetry and the dynamic interaction with the evolving stage, Rupture powerfully conveys the protagonist's journey of confronting fears and seeking a way to embrace life after the rupture.
