Rainbow Made in Syria is an experimental short documentary exploring the underground LGBTQ+ scene in Damascus 2008. Through interviews with five queer friends who organized a secret gay party, the film highlights the resilience of individuals who had to navigate complex social and legal barriers to express their identities, paying tribute to the community’s ongoing struggles in the MENA region.
